Description
On this day in October the underwater kelp stands had a distinctly autumnal feel about them and looked rather shabby. Like the leaf-fall of deciduous forests on the land they shed their fronds in autumn; this way they rid themselves of overgrowth by other marine life and make way for fresh growth in early Spring.
