Colours from Cuba & Photographs from Solva

We are very fortunate to have two renowned artists living in Solva, one who brings us startling colourful artworks inspired from his earlier life in Cuba! Raul Speek adds an extra dimension to Solva life and shares all his talents willingly this includes music and dance! He is very well connected in the art world and his tropical colours add life to our Welsh land and culture-scape. Raul’s wife, Heather Bennett, is a highly regarded artist with her camera and has produced a number of lovely books with Raul. Heather has a wonderful eye for colours and compositions which together with her technical skills produces fantastic photographs. They are a great partnership and do a lot for the artist and general community around us here. We are so glad to be able to include them in our book ‘Natural Light’ and help them with printing their art.
